Recipe: Molasses Taffy

MOLASSES TAFFY

1 cup molasses
2 tbsp butter
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp vinegar

Mix ingredients and boil slowly to 265 degrees F (hard boil). Pour at once onto s buttered platter. Do not scrape kettle.

When candy cools take it up in n ball; pull between thumb and fingers until light in color and porous.

Cut into pieces with buttered shears. Wrap pieces in waxed paper.
