Recipe(tried): Muffaletta - Stuffed Loaves

Sandwiches
For a traditional Muffaletta: you need

1. large round loaf of Italian bread
2. your favourite salad or coleslaw
3. sliced deli meats eg ham, salami
4. selection of cheeses

Slice the loaf in half, scoop out some bread to make space for the filling.

Layer meats, salad and cheeses.

Wrap in foil, place in refrigerator and weight down with some weights.

Chill several hours or overnight.

This compresses the sandwich, amalgamates the filling and make it easier to cut then serve.
