Recipe: Mulberry Jelly

Misc.
Finally, I found my recipe for Mulberry Jelly. Enjoy!

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05

Title: Mulberry Jelly
Categories: Preserves, Jelly
Yield: 1 Servings

2.00 lb Mulberries
1.00 Lemon; juice and peel
2.00 c Water
Sugar

Remove the stalks from the mulberries and put the fruit into a
saucepan with the lemon and water. Bring slowly to the boil and
simmer for an hour or until the berries are very soft.
Mash the berries to extract all the juice. Strain through a jelly
bag into a bowl. It will take one or two hours.
Measure the juice. You need the equivalent amount of sugar. Put the
juice into the saucepan and bring to the boil, simmer for 10 minutes,
then add the sugar. Stir frequently until the sugar is dissolved.
Bring the jelly to a rolling boil and continue until setting point is
reached.
Pour immediately into sterilised jars, label and seal.
