Recipe: Bulgur-Mushroom-Pecan Burgers

1/4 cup bulgur
1/2 cup boiling water
1/4 pound mushrooms, chopped
1/2 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tsp. oil
1/2 pound tofu, mashed
1/4 cup pecan meal or chopped pecans
1 tsp. savory
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Add bulgur to boiling water and simmer for 20 minutes.
Saute the mushrooms, onion, and garlic in the oil.
Mix all ingredients together and form into burgers.
Arrange on an oiled baking sheet and bake 15 minutes per side till browned.
