Recipe(tried): No-Burn Bbq Chicken (using chicken thighs)

NO-BURN BBQ CHICKEN

"The marinade gives it the flavor of a BBQ sauce with no sugary sauce to burn. Removing the skin cuts out the added risk of flare ups and the chicken cube gives it richer flavor."

8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
FOR THE MARINADE:
1 small onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 chicken bouillon cube, crushed
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon parsley flakes
1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne)
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground sage
1 splash each vinegar and oil

Combine all ingredients in shallow bowl. Add chicken and allow to marinate for at least 20 minutes (refrigerate to marinate longer).

When ready to cook, remove chicken from marinade.

To cook on a gas grill, grill over high heat 5 minutes, turn, reduce heat to medium. Grill 5 to 10 minutes more depending on thickness of meat. Or, to cook on a charcoal grill, cook over glowing coals for 10 minutes or until done, turning.

Chicken is done when pierced with the tip of a knife blade, and the "juice" is clear. Keep a spray bottle of water nearby in case of a flare up if your chicken is fatty.
