Recipe(tried): BBQ Spareribs (using BBQ sauce, chili sauce, maple syrup and wine)

Main Dishes - Pork, Ham
BBQ SPARERIBS

8 to 9 lb pork or beef ribs
FOR THE BARBECUE SAUCE:
1 cup chili sauce (Heinz)
1 cup onion BBQ sauce (Heinz)
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup white wine
2 tablespoons strong mustard
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce

Cover ribs with water and bring to a boil; simmer for 45 minutes. Let cool.

Meanwhile, mix together the ingredients for the barbecue sauce.

When the meat is cooked, put in a big dish (I use two). Add the sauce and mix well to cover every piece of rib. Cover and refrigerate. Let marinate 8 to 24 hours. (I know it's long but...)

They can be cooked on the BBQ, but I'm sure also in the oven. BBQ cooking time is 25-30 minutes.
