Recipe: Onion Cookies - Tsibilla (crackers using poppy seeds, no sugar)

Hi Arlene, This is the only recipe I could find for any type of Onion Cookie, but will keep searching for you.

ONION COOKIES

3 large onions
1 cup oil
1 tablespoon salt (use Kosher if you have it)
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 cup water
2 eggs
4 cups flour
2 tablespoons poppy seeds

Cut onions very thin. Add all other ingredients.

Roll very thin on floured board. Cut into rounds or squares. Place on a lightly greased baking sheet.

Bake in 400 degree F oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
