Recipe(tried): Oysters and Bacon

Quick and Easy Oysters and Bacon

Smoked Oysters (Canned or Fresh) Allow three per guest
1 lb Thinly sliced Bacon
2 Tbsp. Parmegian Cheese
2 Tbsp. Olive Oil

Preheat oven to 350. On a large cookie sheet, spread the olive oil. Remember that the bacon fat will melt so it is bet to use an edged cookie sheet. Put the cookie shet into the oven.

Wrap each individual Oyster in the bacon. For canned oysters, use only 1/2 of a slice. For larger fresh oysters, use the entire slice. Skewer with a toothpick.

Place the wrapped oysters on the preheated cookie sheet. You can put them quite close together if you wish as they will reduce in size but leave a little room so that the bacon doesn't cook together.

Bake for 10 minutes or until the bacon is completely done to taste. Remove immediately from the cookie sheet and sprinkle with cheese.

These are best served straight from the oven or warm. Great for Christmas Eve or Super Bowl Party.
