Recipe: Pasta Salad with Tomato Soup Dressing (2)

PASTA SALAD

1 lb. pasta, cooked and drained
1 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
1 jar pimiento, diced
DRESSING:
1 can condensed cream of tomato soup
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup vinegar
3/4 cup vegetable oil

Combine pasta, bell pepper, and pimiento.

In shaker mix together dressing ingredients. Shake well and pour over pasta mixture.

Chill before serving.

TONI'S PASTA SALAD

SALAD:
1 lb. small pasta shells
3 medium cucumbers*
1 medium onion
1 green bell pepper*
DRESSING:
1 can condensed cream of tomato soup
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup vinegar
3/4 cup vegetable oil

SALAD:
Cook shells as directed on package. Drain; rinse with cold water. Set aside.

Dice vegetables. Mix with shells.

DRESSING:
Combine ingredients; mix well. Add 1/2 to salad; mix. Refrigerate overnight or several hours.

Add remaining dressing just before serving.

*Optional: Omit 1 cucumber and 1/2 green pepper. Add 1/2 red or yellow pepper and 1/2 cup black olives, halved.
