Misc.

Hi Hans ! I hope this isn't too late, but I just saw your request for Pecan
Sandies. This is a real southern recipe, which was originally called " Moldy
Mice". I hope you try it.
Pecan Sandies
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 TBSP.sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans
powdered sugar

Beat together butter and sugar ; add vanilla, beat till combined.
Add the flour and chopped nuts. Mix well.
Roll dough into balls about the size of your thumb.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake cookies at 425 F. for aboout 15 minutes or until set and bottoms
are lightky browned.
Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar ; set aside to cool.
Re-roll cooled cookies in powdered sugar .
Hope you enjoy!!!
