Recipe(tried): Pierogis with Farmers Cheese

This is an old Pa. Dutch recipe.

Pierogis with Farmers Cheese

Make the dough as usual, but cut to the size of a bread plate or large teacup saucer.

2 -3 Large onions, sauteed in butter until almost burnt. (cast iron works best.)

1 - 2 lbs Farmers Cheese or well drained cottage cheese.
2 eggs
1 tbsp. pepper or more to taste.
1 tbsp. salt.
Mix well.

Fill peirogis with 1 -2 tbsp of mix.

Boil 8 minutes. Enjoy.
