Recipe(tried): Precooking Spaghetti

Tips and Tricks - Cooking
You can precook spaghetti ...drain it....run cold water over it until it runs clear....fill freezer gallon bags with the spaghetti...freeze. When you are ready to use it, open bag, put in microwave and heat until hot. Or, refrigerate after cooking and draining, and when ready to serve...put cooked spaghetti in collander, put under hot running water....or a kettle of boiling watr poured over it to heat it to serving temperature.
I keep a bag frozen in the freezer for the two of us. When I want to use just two servings from the bag, I put it in the micro long enough to thaw partially...so that I can pull out two servings...then I put it back in freezer to use again later. It works for me. Sorry I didn't see your message sooner. Good luck.
