Well Barb here's one more. I make this one alot. Red, white and blue for the 4th of July, Red and Green for Christmas, etc. This is different than the other recipes. The kids love this, it's like finger jello so when you cut it , it holds it's shape.
RAINBOW FINGER JELLO
4 (4 serving size) packages different color Jello
6 Packages unflavored Gelatin
1 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
Mix one package flavored Jello with one pkg unflavored gelatin. Mix with 1 cup boiling water. Put in greased (pam) 9x13 pan, let set until firm.
Mix condensed milk with 1 cup boiling water and mix 2 pkgs unflavored gelatin with 1 cup boiling water. Mix with milk mixture. Pour one cup of this mixture in between set colored layers.
Repeat with other layers.
To help speed things along, right after I put a layer of jello or milk mixture in the fridge to set I always make the next layer. This way the layer next to be added has a chance to cool so it doesn't melt the previous layer and helps speed setting time. (Make any sense?) The milk mixture you make all at once. If it starts to set before you need it for a layer you can zap it in the microwave for about 30 seconds.
