RANCH-STYLE BISCUITS IN A BAG
3 cups self-rising flour
1 package dry ranch-style salad-dressing mix
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
To assemble gift bag:
In medium bowl, stir together flour, dry salad-dressing mix, parsley and garlic powder. Spoon into cellophane bag. Tie securely with twist tie.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR GIFT TAG:
Label "Ranch-Style Biscuits in a Bag."
Then write or type:
Empty contents of bag into medium bowl. Stir in 1 cup milk or buttermilk and 1/2 cup melted butter to form dough. Place spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake at 450 degrees F for 10-12 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
Note: Ingredients will keep for several weeks in a cool, dry pantry.
Makes 12-14 biscuits
