Recipe(tried): Re: HELP! Company coming!

Misc.

Hey Fleigh!
I don't know if you're old enough to remember this, but back in the 70's, there was a "craze" using Bisquick for their "Impossible" EVERYTHING!!
On the Bisquick box, you can send away for all their "booklets", (which, my mom, who is now 75) ordered for her daughters, and 6 grown grand-daughters...We all love using those recipes because most of the ingredients are on hand, and easy to "whip up"...The other recipe book we refer to often (for all those recipes you forgot to cut off labels) is: "The Great American Brand Name Cookbook" which I can tell you - I have used more often than ANY other cookbook.
Good luck, and if you want any of these recipes...give me some clues on what your parents/grandparents taste preferences are....or possibly one of those recipes for "the-label-I-never-cut-off" things.
Good Luck!!
P.S. Since I live in Georgia...when we had the Olympics--I entertained (rathered "bordered" 17 family members from around the country!!! We had a great time, but they were mostly in-and-out, and I found that they're favorite breakfast was.......Egg McMuffins (homemade, of course) I used the roll of Turkey ham, sliced it in advance, and froze it in packages of 10 slices, (separated with small pieces of wax paper), I toasted the "english muffins" in the toaster oven while making the eggs in a huge non-stick skillet. (a 14-incher that my mom bought me from a catalog) (my prize possession)...anyway, hope this gives you some ideas, and....
P.S. Ask for one of those "gourmet" skillets for Christmas....lol
