Recipe(tried): Chicken Adobo

Misc.

I made this for my mother-in-law last week while she was visiting, she loved it. I like it because you can double or triple it and it's cooked on the stove - great in this heat!!

Chicken Adobo:

3 lbs. chicken legs or thighs
1 clove garlic, minced
1 chicken bouillon cube
1/4 c. sugar
1c. water
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/3 c. vinegar

- Mix all sauce ingredients together. Pour over chicken pieces, bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 hour. Turn chicken pieces occasionally with tongs. Served with steamed white rice. May be doubled or tripled.

Note: I served this with green beans, a jello salad and homemade bread. Hope you enjoy!!
