Recipe(tried): RE: Roasting bag recipes

Misc.

Nancy,
My mother always made this and my family loves it.

Pot Roast in Bag

1 3 pound chuck or sirloin tip roast
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 envelope onion soup mix

Place roast in bottom of bag
Combine soups and pour over roast
Tie off bag. (if you do this in microwave make a couple of slits in top of bag)

Cook in microwave 1 1/2 hours on low (25%)
or
Bake in 350 F. over for 1 1/2 hours

This makes the most wonderfull gravey, so I always serve with mashed potatoes.
