Recipe(tried): roasting bags...one more use

Misc.

I had a friend mention this in passing one day...and I confess until then I had
NEVER thought about it, but oh boy, what an easy was to cook!...using roast bags
in your crockpot! Just dump everything in the bag according to your recipe...use
the doohickey to close the top, and put the whole thing in the
crockpot...delightful and NO MESS! I tried this out with a FROZEN barbecued
chicken and 8 hours later when we came back from work...a wonderful smell...and
dinner was done...no mess either. one little hint...our crockpot has a heavy
glass lid, if you use one with a plastic lid then punch hole in the bag because
the expanding bag will lift up your lid as the item cooks.
