Recipe: Red Hot Rice Krispy Treats

RED HOT RICE KRISPY TREATS

3 tablespoons butter
4 cups miniature marshmallows
6 cups rice cereal
FOR DECORATING:
red hot cinnamon candy
red or pink frosting

Melt butter over low heat in a saucepan. Add the marshmallows and stir with a spoon sprayed with cooking spray until completely melted. Remove from heat.

In a large bowl, combine the rice cereal with melted marshmallows and stir until completely coated.

Spray a large sheet of waxed paper with cooking spray. Evenly spread out mixture on waxed paper using a buttered spatula.

Cut into heart shapes using cookie cutters. Decorate with red hots and frosting as desired.
