Recipe(tried): Rice Krispies Cake Tips
Holidays, CelebrationsMy son is allergic to many things so I have made Rice Krispy Pumpkins, Incredible T-shirts, a Tarantula, bird nests and a Spiderman head for birthday parties.
If using coloring as another person mentioned, drop the coloring into the marshmallow mix before adding crispies. A new spray they sell in the baking areas of Safeway is great! Also, egg, milk, wheat and nut free. This makes it much easier to color.
If you are making shapes, moisten your hands and mold when warm. I have had good luck cutting hardened pans of the mix into shapes.
My son likes skittles so if I make plain krispies I often use sprinkles on top while the mix is warm and flatten it with moistened hands before putting on the skittles. I don't know if the bride is allergic or just wants to keep it playful but any candy can be stuck into the krispies while warm.
Keep us updated! Good luck.
