Salmon Noodle Casserole
1 cup noodles
1 one pound can salmon
1 tbsp. chopped onion
1 tbsp. chopped green pepper
salt to taste
1-1/2 cups of white sauce
Cook noodles in boiling salted water; drain and rinse. Alternate layers of noodles and salmon in greased casserole; sprinkle each layer with onion, green pepper and salt. Pour white sauce over casserole. Top with bread crumbs. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
Crab Casserole
1 tbsp. green pepper
1/3 cup plus 1 tbsp. water
1/4 cup butter
1 cup evaporated milk
4 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. Accent
1 pound crab
2 hard boiled eggs, chopped
1/2 cup slivered almonds
1/2 cup buttered bread crumbs
1/2 cup grated cheese
Crush green pepper; place in one tablespoon of water. Melt butter; add green pepper. Cook 4 or 5 minutes or until tender; remove from heat. Stir in milk and flour; cook until smooth. Stir in accent, crab, eggs and almonds. Pour into buttered casserole; top with crumbs and cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes or until bubbly.
Crab Hot Dish
1 can mushroom soup
1 can of water or milk
1/2 pkg. of fine noodles, cooked
1 - 6-1/2 ounce can crab meat
1/2 pound old english cheese
1 onion cut fine
2 tbsp. of butter
1 small can of pimento
1 small green pepper, chopped
Buttered bread crumbs
Dilute soup with water; alternate layers of noodles, crab, cubed cheese, soup onion, butter, pimento and green pepper in greased baking dish. Top with bread crumbs or grated cheese. Bake for one hour at 350 degrees.
