CINNAMON-APPLE COLESLAW
3 cups shredded green cabbage
2 cups shredded red cabbage
1 1/2 cups chopped apples
1 cup Miracle Whip Salad Dressing (regular or light)
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
apple slices (optional garnish)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts, toasted (optional garnish)
Combine all ingredients; lightly. Cover; chill.
Optional: Add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, toasted, just before serving. Garnish with apple slices.
Variations:
HONEY-MUSTARD COLESLAW:
Omit apples and cinnamon. Add 1 cup shredded carrot and 2 teaspoons KRAFT Pure Prepared Mustard.
PINEAPPLE-BACON COLESLAW:
Omit apples, honey and cinnamon. Add 1 (8-oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained, 1 cup shredded carrot and 4 crisply cooked bacon slices, crumbled, just before serving.
TRADITIONAL COLESLAW:
Omit 2 cups red cabbage; increase green cabbage to 5 cups. Omit apples and honey. Add 1 cup shredded carrot and 3/4 teaspoon celery seed.
Makes 6 servings
