Recipe: Sauteed Green and Red Peppers

Saute'ed Green & Red Peppers(Chiles en Crema):
Betty Crocker's Mexican Cookbook.Recipes by Jose' Leopoldo Romero.
Servings:6

2 slices bacon,cut up
2 Tbls.margarine or butter
2 green peppers,cut into 1/4 inch strips
2 red peppers,cut into 1/4 inch strips
1 small onion,chopped(about 1/4 cup)
2 tomatoes,chopped
1 tsp.cumin seed
1 tsp.dried oregano leaves
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp.pepper
1/2 c.sour cream
Snipped fresh cilantro

Cook & stir bacon in margarine in 10 inch skillet till crisp,remove & drain on paper towels.Cook & stir green & red peppers & onion in same skillet over med-high heat 2 minutes.

Add remaining ingredients except sour cream & cilantro.Heat to boiling,reduce heat & simmer uncovered 5 minutes.Remove from heat & stir in sour cream,sprinkle with cilantro.
