Recipe(tried): Sesame Jack Chicken like TGI Fridays

TGI Fridays uses "china cut" chicken, or cut up chicken strips in their recipe. First, they coat the srrips in plain flour, then dunk them in a batter made of water and some type of flour-y substance. Last they roll them in panko bread crumbs and deep fry them. They coat them in the Jack Daniels glaze and sprinkle with mixture of sesame seeds and crushed red pepper flakes. I used to work at tgi's and have no idea what is in the batter, except it is not pure white, kinda tan- looking.
