Recipe: Power Punch (smoothie using tofu, blender)

POWER PUNCH

"This smoothie is packed with protein and omega-3 fatty acids. It's perfect for sipping after you return from the gym."

1/2 cup soft silken tofu
1 1/4 cups pear nectar
1/2 cup frozen diced pineapple
1/2 frozen banana, sliced
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice

Combine tofu and pear nectar in a blender. Add all remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth.

Makes about 2 1/2 cups (2 servings)

Per serving: 170 calories, 4g protein, 2g fat (1g saturated), 38g carbohydrates, 10mg sodium, 0mg cholesterol, 3g dietary fiber.
