Recipe: Shredded Wheat Nests

SPRING BIRD'S NEST
Here's a recipe for making bird's nests that are EDIBLE! You will need:
Mixing bowl
2 large shredded wheat biscuits
Measuring cups
Measuring spoons
1/4 cup of coconut
1 tablespoon of brown sugar
1/4 cup of margarine or butter melted
Muffin tin
Bird's eggs or jelly bean (or grapes, melon balls, blueberries) In a mixing bowl, crumble shredded wheat. Stir in coconut and sugar. Pour in melted
butter/margarine. Mix. Line muffin cups with foil. Press shredded wheat mixture in
bottom and up sides of cups to form nests. With adult help, bake at 350 degrees about
10 minutes or till crisp. Remove nests from cups by lifting up foil. Peel foil off and fill
nests.
