Recipe: The Nugget Casino Combination Pan Roast (using seafood, white wine and cream)
Appetizers and SnacksThis recipe comes straight from the restaurant, not a copycat. Perhaps it's been prepared differently over time.
THE NUGGET'S COMBINATION PAN ROAST
3 tablespoons white wine
1 tablespoon cocktail sauce
2 tsp butter or margarine
pinch celery salt
3 drops lemon juice
3 drops hot pepper sauce
1-8oz bottle clam juice
1/2 pound shrimp, crab, or oysters
1 1/2 cups half and half
Extra butter/margarine
Combine first six ingredients in saucepan, stir in clam juice. Bring to a boil, stir in shrimp, simmer until seafood is cooked.
Stir in half and half. Do not bring to a boil. Dot with extra butter/margarine.
Makes 3-4 small servings.
