I don't know all of the details for posting. I found this entry recently on R/L's "what's for dinner board". Since it's a slow cooker recipe & it looks delicious, it would seem appropriate to post again. I'd prefer that I not be given any credit for the posting.

Hi- I found this recipe today in the mail and I just had to share it with you since it screamed comfort food.
Slow Cooker Turkey and Dressing
1 (8 oz) pacage herb-seasoned stuffing mix
1 Onion, chopped
2 Celery ribs, chopped
1 cup dried cranberries
3/4 cup chicken broth
3 T butter, melted
1 (3 lb) frozen boneless turkey breast, thawed
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp dried thyme
1 package turkey gravy mix
Coat inside of 4 qt electric slow cooker with cooking spray. Add stuffing mix, onion, celery and cranberries. Combine broth and melted butter. Pour over stuffing and stir gently.
Remove sting from turkey breast and rinse. Place turkey in slow cooker on top of stuffing. Combine salt, pepper and thyme and sprinkle over turkey. Cover and cook on high 1 hour. Reduce to low and cooke 5-6 hours or until a meat thermometer inserted in turkey registers 170.
Remove turkey to a serving platter. Stir stuffing gently in slow cooker; cover and let stand 3-4 mins. Prepare gravy and spoon stuffing around turkey on platter.
