Recipe(tried): Southern Meal at my Home Tonight!

Menus
Hey Everybody!

I had the pleasure of dining at Shirley's Soul Food Restaurant in Toccoa, Georgia a few days ago and the meal was fabulous! I decided to re-create the menu tonight for my friend and later catch a movie. If you ever visit Toccoa in Northeast Georgia, please stop at Shirley's, you won't be disappointed. She is the Queen of Soul Food cooking in my opinion!

I am still at my Georgia home...the installers are installing beautiful 7 inch rustic honey oak planks in our master bedroom and closets...I just peeked in and they are doing an amazing job! I can't wait til the furniture is put back in...

Here is the menu and recipes for tonight's meal.

TONIGHT'S MENU IS:
Baked Chicken Breasts Au Jus
Yellow Squash Casserole
Fried Cabbage
Roasted New Red Potatoes
Corn Bread
Sliced Tomatoes
Bread and Butter Pickle Slices
Coconut Pie
Sweet Iced Tea

The cornbread is Jiffy's and the bread and butter pickles come out of a jar...
