Recipe(tried): Spaghetti Sauce- How to prevent watering off when adding pasta

Tips and Tricks - Cooking
The answer may be simple. When you cook your pasta, please let it drain well. I usually return it back to the warm pot and let the excess moisture evaporate. If the pasta is still dripping with water, it will thin the sauce. In addition to this, I have found that using spaghetti doesn't allow the sauce to adhere much. You may want to substitute pasta that will capture and hold more sauce like Rotelli. It is a common occurrence to have more sauce than spaghetti when you are finished eating.

Another suggestion would be to control the thickness of the sauce by simmering it to evaporate more of the liquid. If you prefer a thicker sauce this may be the way to go

Without knowing your exact cooking method, this is the best I can offer.
