Recipe(tried): Spinach Brownies

If you liked the spinach balls, you will like these spinach brownies posted by Ellen on 2/22/98

Spinach Brownies

1 cup flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 cup milk
1 stick melted margarine
2 eggs, well beaten
1 cup minced onion
10 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
10 oz. cooked and squeezed chopped spinach.

Mix all ingredients. Place in a greased 9-inch square pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. May be baked the day before and reheated. If batter is too loose, add flavored bread crumbs. Serves 8.
