I tried the sugar shortbread cookies and the dough did indeed seem too soft to make good cutouts for sticks, but I tried it anyways and it worked wonderfully! I did roll it out 1/2 inch thick, but the flavor is wonderful and they stayed on the sticks (baked them with the sticks in) just like I wanted. Now to decorate them the way I want and I will reach success! Thanks to the original poster of the recipe!!!
