Recipe(tried): Susan's Beer Cheese Soup - Thank You

Hi Susan,
I tried your beer cheese soup last night. It was delicious and pretty darned closed to The Flying Saucer's. One thing I added that was different was a couple of pinches of fennel seed. I've noticed on close inspection of their soup that they have some kind of spice that is long and thin. My guess is fennel, and it tasted pretty accurate.
Again, thanks for the recipe!!!
