Recipe: Szechuan Pasta Salad with Honey-Sesame Dressing (using bow tie pasta)

SZECHUAN PASTA SALAD

FOR THE DRESSING:
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 to 3 tbsp. red wine vinegar
1 tbsp. honey
2 tsp. sesame seed
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 tsp. grated fresh ginger root
1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1/4 tsp. salt
FOR THE SALAD:
3 cups fresh broccoli florets (may be slightly blanched if desired)
2 cups cooked chicken strips, cut
1/2 Lb. bow tie pasta, cooked and drained
1 sweet red pepper, cut into strips
1/4 lb. snow peas, trimmed
2 green onions, cut into 1-inch pieces

In large bowl, whisk together oil, vinegar, honey, sesame seed, garlic, ginger, hot pepper sauce and salt.

Add the remaining ingredients for the salad and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate to chill.
