Recipe(tried): Tamale Pie

1 Heaping Cup of Yellow Corn Meal
1 Cup of Cold Water
3 Cups of Boiling water
1 Tablespoon Of Garlic Spread
1 Pound of Good Quality Ground Beef
1 Cand Of Black Olives
1 Can of Whole Kernel Corn
1 Tablespoon of Chille Powder
1 Tablespoon of Worchesershire sauce
1 Medium chopped Onion
2 Cans of Tomato Paste (about 5 oz altogether)
About 2 cups of Grated Cheddar Cheese

Cooking Directions


Mix 1 heaping cup of yellow cornmeal and 1 cup of water (cold), add 3 cups of boiling water and 1
tablespoon of garlic spread and bring it all to a boil.

Brown 1 pound of ground beef with 1 medium chopped onion salt and peper and one (drained) can of
whole kernel (regular) corn. Add one can of (drained) ripe black olives 1 tablespoon of chili powder (or
more), and one tablespoon of Worchesershire sauce and 2 cans of tomato sauce

Put all of the above into a 2 quart casserole dish and then put the cornmeal spread over the top.

Put lots of cheese on top of this and bake for about 20 min at 400 degrees.
