Recipe: Teuqilaberry's Salad (2)

Here are two versions I found, both have lettuce. Haven't made either, but see one uses milk instead of vinegar in the dressing. Perhaps one of them is the dressing you used.

Tequilaberry Salad

2 heads lettuce, chopped
1 head cauliflower, cut up in tiny pieces
1 lb (.5 kg). bacon, fried and crumbled
1 pint Hellman's or Best Foods mayonnaise (no substitutions)
2-1/2 tbsp (35 ml) white vinegar
1/4 cup (60 ml) sugar
1 cup (225 ml) parmesan cheese

Combine lettuce, cauliflower and bacon. Mix mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar. Add dressing to salad, add parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.

Tequilaberry's salad

Dressing:
1 cup Hellmann's Mayonnaise (not Miracle Whip!)
1/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup milk
1 pound bacon-cooked until crisp and crumbled

Salad Base:
2 pounds bagged Dole Salad Mix
1/2 head of cauliflower, cut in small pieces
11/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Mix dressing ingredients until they are the consistency of heavy cream. If needed, add extra milk or sugar to taste.
Toss together the Salad ingredients and pour the dressing on. Toss until well coated.
