Recipe(tried): Turkey Meat Loaf

Main Dishes - Chicken, Poultry
TURKEY MEAT LOAF

2 pounds ground turkey
1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
1 cup ketchup, divided use
1/2 cup bread crumbs
4 oz. mozzarella cheese (grated)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.

Mix first turkey, soup mix, 1/2 cup of the ketchup, and bread crumbs together. Divide the meat loaf in half. Place half in the prepared pan and put grated mozzarella cheese on top of the mixture. Place the rest of mixture on top of cheese and seal edges. Spread 1/2 cup ketchup over the top.

Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until done.

We decided to add turkey to our diet. Found this recipe in a radio station cookbook. Baked the loaf for 1 hour. Tasted good and baked firm. Enjoy!
