Recipe(tried): Uncrushable soggy-free sandwhiches

Misc.

As a high schooler and then college student, I often had to carry my lunch (or dinner for that matter) in my backpack (backpacks are great for books, but tupperware lids get knocked off, squeezed, and any juice leakes out). Regular sandwhiches would get really crushed or fall apart too.

I came up with an alternative.

Burritos...and wraps....

and not just the mexican kind.

I took the large soft flour tortillias and experimented with all sorts of items inside. Sometimes I would make a pile of chicken, cheese, tomatoes, sour cream, etc, and fold it like a burrito. I also used peanut butter and an assortment of jams, bannas, honey, fruits, even added peanuts.

To fold a burrito, lay it flat in front of you, if you are right handed, pretend the tortillia is a clock and pile your fillings in a straight line, starting at the 9 and going towards the 3, stopping just past the center of the clock. Take your right hand and fold the right side so that the tortillia looks like a backwards "D", then roll it up. You can also fold both ends of the tortillia to make it a totally contained burrito.

To avoid the chunk of tortillia at the bottom of the burrito, I sometimes took and spread the PB&J all over it then rolled it up. It looked sort of like a chocolate hoho.
