Recipe: Waldorf Salad

From an old Waldorf cookbook

1 c diced apple
4 lettuce leaves
1 c diced celery
1/4 c mayonnaise
2 tbsp chopped nuts, (walnuts or pecans)

mix the celery, apples and mayonaixe together. arrange on individual plates:
a lettuce leaf, a scoop of the salad mixture and then garnish with nuts.
