WASHDAY DINNER
1 pound ground beef
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
1 onion, chopped
2 cups canned pinto or kidney beans, drained
1 cup tomato sauce
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1 cup cooked cubed potatoes
In skillet, brown beef and onion till meat is brown and onion is tender; drain.
Add beans and tomato sauce. Stir and heat to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer 10 minutes.
Add oregano, cumin, and potatoes and cook till heated through.
Servings: 4
