Recipe: Topsy Turvy Pie

TOPSY TURVY PIE

FOR THE FILLING:
1 lb ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
1 (4 1/2 oz) can chopped olives, drained
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp chili powder
FOR THE TOPPING:
1 cup Bisquick baking mix
1/4 cup milk
2 tbsp butter

Brown beef, onion, and pepper; drain. Add sauce, olives, salt and chili powder; mix well. Pour into a 9-inch pie plate; set aside.

Combine topping ingredients; beat 15 strokes. Knead 8-10 times. Roll into 10-inch circle; cover pie, crimping edges to seal. Cut a couple of stem vents in top.

Bake at 425 degrees F 15-20 minutes. Let cool a few minutes before inverting onto serving plate.
