WEIGHT WATCHERS APPLE PIE
1 (12 oz.) can lemon-lime diet soda
1 envelope unflavored gelatin (Knox)
1 packet Sweet-N-Low
2 apples, peeled
1/3 cup nonfat dry milk powder
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
Heat the soda, gelatin and Sweet-N-Low in saucepan until dissolved.
Slice apples into pie pan. Pour liquid over apples. Sprinkle 1/3 cup dry milk and cinnamon over top.
Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees F. Cool and if desired, refrigerate until it gels.
BAKED APPLE
1 Rome apple, cored & cut in half
1/3 can fruit flavored diet soda
Ground cinnamon to taste
Place apple in baking dish. Cover with diet soda. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 minutes )or bake in microwave oven 2 1/2 minutes).
Equals 1 fruit serving
BAKED APPLES (MICROWAVE)
2 apples
1 can diet strawberry soda
Cut apples in half and core (leave peel on). Place cut side down, pour can of pop in Pyrex dish for microwave.
Cook on High for 2 minutes then check. Cook to consistency which you like.
BAKED APPLES
5 medium apples
2 to 3 packets Sweet 'N Low
1 can black cherry diet soda
ground cinnamon
Place apples in non-stick baking pan. Pour soda mixture over apples. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake 20-30 minutes at 350 degrees F.
MICROWAVE BAKED APPLES
4 apples
1 can or bottle diet red pop (strawberry or cherry flavor)
Pare apples half way down, core and place in microwavable casserole. Pour pop over apples and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Microwave, basting apples, every 3 minutes with liquid in casserole. Apples are done when fork tender. Time varies with microwaves.
Serve either warm or cold.
