Recipe(tried): White Sangria for a Party, Tropical White Sangria, Champagne Sangria
BeveragesDearest Sally: Here are my favorite Sangr a recipes. I have already posted them here before.
WHITE SANGRIA FOR A PARTY (my absolut favorite):
1/2 galon unexpensive white chardonnay, chablis or Savignon Blanc
1 frozen guava concentrate
1 big pear nectar (can)
2 cups of Finlandia Vodka
1/2 cup of sugar
2 big Seven Ups.
Fruits, including white grapes, sliced apples and sliced pinneaple (use white fruits)
You can prepare the mix before the party, excluding the Seven Ups. You can add the seven ups before serving.
TROPICAL WHITE SANGRIA
2 oranges, peeled and sliced thin
1 bottle chilled white dry wine
1 12 ounce can mango nectar, chilled
1 mango in cubes
1 chilled 12 oz can of ginger ale
1 chilled bottle of unexpensive dry champagne
Add the Ginger Ale and the Champagne before serving.
Champagne Sangria
This is from a Douglas Rodr guez book.
1 semi ripe mango, peeled, pitted & sliced
2 peaches, peeled, pitted & sliced
3 limes, sliced
2 lemons, sliced
1 orange, sliced
1 cup seedless green grapes
1/2 cup Cointreau
1 bottle champagne or Cava, well chilled.
Place all the sliced fruit and grapes in large punchbowl. Pour the Cointreau over the fruit and toss gently. Just before serving, add the chilled champagne and stir gently. Serve the wine with some fruit in large chilled wine glasses.
Thanks for inviting me to your party. I wish I could be there. Have fun dear friend.
