WHOLE WHEAT POPOVERS
"Serve these popovers with honey butter for a real lip-smacking treat! Just mix equal amounts of honey with softened butter."
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
Heat oven to 450 degrees F. Spray six 6-ounce custard cups or 6-cup popover pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Mix all ingredients with hand beater just until smooth (do not overbeat). Fill cups about half full.
Bake 20 minutes at 450 degrees F. Reduce oven temperature to 350 degrees F. Bake 20 minutes longer. Immediately remove from cups. Serve warm.
Makes 6 popovers
