Recipe: ZIPPY punch

Misc.

Hi Bry, WELCOME! Now why apologise??? Glad to share recipes here!
this one has been a keeper for me for nearly 18 yrs now! I am always asked for a copy when I serve. As with any punch there is room for change and a tip that I do is figure how many oz. total goes into the punch then figure say 2 cups per person for any occasion. so it my cups are 6 oz I give mayself about 12 oz per person, of course ice take up room in thecups so this is not exact. also freeze things in the ice cubes or make a ring with a jello mold. like lemon slices or orange slices or plastic flowers or rasberries or strawberries you get the idea ...
Zippy punch (may new name for it)

1 qt water
1 cup sugar
2 bottles GINGER ALE not 7-up not vernerous like canada dry
