ISO: 13th Boy & Girl b-day Party for Daughter

Misc.
My daughter is turning 13 in December and wants a boy-girl party. I would like to throw the party in August as a surprise (plus the weatheris so much nicer). I need some suggestions for activities that would keep the boys and girls entertained and interacting in a healthy manner(if you know what I mean). I could have the party at my home (BBQ) or somewhere else. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks!!!!!
