ISO: 1970's meatloaf with a crust

Hello everyone,
In the 70's as a young girl I found a wonderful recipe for meatloaf in crust in one of my mom's magazines (I'm not sure which one - it may have been Family Circle or Lady's Home Journal or another. The recipe was wonderful and I made it many times and somehow lost the recipe. Growing up in a very Italian family it was nice to try out other (like American) recipes this meatloaf recipe had chopped dill pickle and the crust recipe was not as short as a pie crust yet tender. I remember it made a pretty big loaf enough to feed my brother and his college room mates when he'd take them to our home on weekends. It was impressive to make since there was leftover dough to make decorations on the top and glaze with egg yolks. I'd LOVE to find it again. I've tried to recreate it but it isn't the same at all. I hope someone out there in recipeland can help me.
