ISO: 3 Layer Jello

I am looking for a jello recipe my mother made when I was a child. I know you used flavored jello packets, plain knox gelatin packets and a milk ingredient. It had only 3 or 4 ingredients. You mixed all the items together with water and when it was chilled, it automatically seperated into 3 different layers, we didn't have to wait between layers. a regular gelatin layer, a foamy/gelatin layer and lastly a very foamy light layer. Can anyone help?
