Hi Amy. I have made many layered "finger" Jell-O recipes that call for adding a packet of unflavored gelatin (to the Jello packet) to each layer. I looked for a recipe like you described (with the fluffy layer) and found one close. This particular recipe does not include the added packets of unflavored gelatin, but I would just add them. Mix the unflavored gelatin with the dry Jello before adding the hot water. Also, to enable each layer to pull-apart from the last, I always let each layer become semi-firm (or firm) before adding the next. And, let the next layer cool a bit before adding it. If too warm, the new layer will melt into the already-firm layer. I hope this helps. Kel

3 COLORED JELLO SALAD
1 lg. pkg. lime Jello
1 sm. pkg. lemon Jello
1 lg. cherry Jello
1 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese (room temperature)
1 c. whipping cream
1 to 1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
Use a 13 x 9 inch glass dish. Prepare lime Jello according to directions on box. Pour into 13 x 9 inch dish. Refrigerate to set.
Put lemon Jello in medium bowl. Add 2 cups boiling water. Add marshmallows and stir until completely dissolved. Cool to room temperature.
Whip cream in another medium bowl, mix cheese until smooth. Slowly add whipped cream blending until smooth each time.
When combined, add small amount of lemon Jello mixture. Continue until both mixtures are combined. Pour over lime Jello. Refrigerate until set. When this layer is set, add cherry Jello as top layer.
To serve, cut into squares. Top with whipped cream if desired.
