ISO: appetizers- cream puff fillings

My friends and I are having a cocktail party. We have made the party more like a contest, and everyone got to pick out of a hat what kind of appetizer they had to bring, cold, hot, dips. I ended up getting pastry-hot. Now I don't really want to use the commercial phyllo doughs or crescent rolls, because we are trying to be creative. I would like to make minature cream puffs, but don't know what to fill them with that can be served hot. I figured on some cream cheese based filling. Anyone have any suggegtions. Thanks so much.
